INDUSTRIAL DESIGN builds what doesn’t exist yet

I Can Feel the Future

It hums at the edge of my skin, not loud, but certain. Like distant thunder before the clouds roll in.

It’s not a vision. Not a plan. Not a thing I can chart with a stylus or spreadsheet.

It’s a pull. A tension behind my ribs. A whisper in the spine that says: Not this. Not yet. But soon.

I’ve built what they asked for. I’ve shaped what they could see.

But the work that haunts me is the thing they haven’t imagined and don’t yet know they need.

I can feel the future in every problem no one wants to touch, in every moment that feels too quiet, too strange, too early.

It smells like hot metal. Tastes like risk. Looks like nothing— until it looks like everything.

And still, I show up. Hands open. Heart loaded. Tools sharp.

Because someday, someone will say yes to the thing I haven’t made yet.

And when they do, I’ll already be halfway there.

I don’t usually post things like this. But I felt inspired to try something a bit different today.

While everyone else is focused on what’s right in front of them Industrial Design has to think years ahead.

This one’s for the designers out there building what’s next. The ones chasing signals no one else can see, yet.

Keep building.

Keep dreaming.

Keep inspiring!
