How a product gets built
These steps overlap. Manufacturing constraints shape the design from the start, and prototypes keep coming while a design gets refined. Most projects also skip or combine steps depending on what you already have.

Figure out what to build
We pin down what the product has to do, who buys it, and what it can cost to make. Size, power, materials, price point, and what it has to beat on the shelf. This is the cheapest place to change your mind, and settling it here is what lets everything after it move fast.

Design it
Sketches through a resolved design. How it looks, how it works, what it's made of, and how it feels in the hand. We explore broadly, then narrow to one direction and refine it.

Build one
CAD and physical prototypes. We model the product properly, print or machine parts, put them together, and find out what's wrong. Most products need two or three rounds.

Make it manufacturable
A prototype and a production part are different things. We resolve wall thickness, draft, tolerances, fasteners, and materials so the design comes off a tool at volume. We cost decisions as the design develops, so budget problems show up before tooling instead of after.

Get it made
This step ends with product in boxes. We help you find the right factory, quote the tooling, review first shots, and correct what comes back wrong. We stay in it through first article and pilot production.

What we do
Strategy
We get specific about what you're selling before anyone designs it. Who buys it, what they pay, what it costs you to make, and what it has to beat. Then we write it down as requirements and a target cost. That document settles arguments later.
Industrial Design
Form, materials, finish, color, and how the product feels to hold and use. We design for how a product gets made. Parting lines, draft, assembly order, and finish get settled while they're cheap to change. A design that photographs well and tools badly costs you months.
Engineering and Manufacturing
CAD, prototypes, and everything that turns a design into something a factory can actually build. This is where most hardware programs stall. A design partner hands off a file and disappears. We stay in it through first article and pilot production, alongside your engineer if you have one.
Digital
Connected products carry software. An app that pairs, a dashboard that reports, a setup flow that either works in three minutes or generates a return. We design it as part of the product, not as a separate project handed to a separate vendor.
Brand and Packaging
A product doesn't stop at the enclosure. Name, identity, and package decide how someone finds it, understands it, and opens it. Identity systems, cartons, mailers, inserts, die lines, and materials, specified so your printer and your factory can both build from them.

Where projects start
That first phase usually runs $1,500 to $6,000, depending on what you already have. Full programs are quoted after it, once we know what the product actually needs.
Typical Investment
Most product development programs range from $20,000 to $70,000, depending on complexity, engineering, prototyping, electronics, branding, packaging, and how far you need us to take the product.
Tooling, certification, production inventory, and manufacturing costs are quoted separately.
