INDUSTRIAL DESIGNERS: come to Atlanta in December
Some people stay home. They say it's the weather, or the traffic, or the way networking feels like performance. They say they'll come next time.
But every designer I know is starving. Starving for conversation that isn’t watered down by surface-level buzzwords. For eye contact with someone who actually gets it. For proof that this career isn’t slowly fading into irrelevance behind a Slack channel and an endless loop of “quick tweaks.”
This isn’t a conference. There’s no agenda. No portfolio review. Just a room full of minds that understand what it costs to make something worth making.
You don’t need to be charming. You don’t need to be impressive. But if you're building a career in this field, you do need other designers.
So skip the small talk. Bring something you’ve made. Let it speak for you. We’ll be there.
