INDUSTRIAL DESIGNERS: You can't build a network from your desk

You know that feeling when you finally meet someone who understands what industrial design actually is without you having to explain it? It doesn't happen often.

I've talked to hundreds of designers this year. The pattern is consistent. You're excited about the work, isolated in the day-to-day, and your network has atrophied because outreach feels impossible.

Here's what these meetups solve. The hard part of networking isn't conversations, it's creating the context where they happen naturally.

We had 21 people in January. Over 100 in August. December will be bigger. These aren't networking events where everyone's pitching. They're designers who carved foam until their fingers hurt, who speak the language.

Bring something on paper with your name on it. Project renderings, sketches, your resume, whatever represents your work. We'll have it displayed for everyone to browse. Forget to bring something? There will be a sketchpad at the door.
