Someone out there is just getting through their day. And the thing you designed is making that day smoother, faster, less frustrating, and better in some way.

They’re not thinking about you. They don’t know about the twelve prototypes. The vendor delays. The arguments over cost. The button you had to fight to keep from being ruined. They just know it works. That latch clicks cleanly. That screen makes sense. That handle doesn’t hurt to hold. And it feels obvious because you did your job so well it disappears.

Most people won’t notice. But the right people do. And the impact stacks.

This is quiet work. But it’s real, and it matters.
