Griffin Technology
AirCurve Acoustic Amplifier
Before wireless speakers became common, Griffin needed a way to amplify iPhone audio without batteries or electronics. Crafted by founder Blair Hasty designed AirCurve, a passive acoustic amplifier that used carefully shaped internal geometry to increase perceived volume using nothing more than physics. The product became one of Griffin’s most recognizable accessories and demonstrated how thoughtful industrial design could solve a problem with simplicity instead of added technology.
