IDI Online Meetup?

We’re thinking about putting together something for the IDI community.​ A live, online meetup. Something that brings people together.

Not just to talk, but to connect in a way that actually feels different.

And we don’t want to copy-paste the usual format.

We are designers afterall, so let’s get creative here.

We’re not looking for another industry panel or typical networking event.​ We’re looking for creative ideas, stuff that hasn’t been done to death.​ Something that feels like us.

How do we make it worth showing up for?​ How do we make it feel alive?

What’s going to actually get you excited to login and meet other designers?

Drop your most interesting, unexpected, or even slightly unhinged ideas below.​ Let’s see what this community is capable of when we build it our way.

Step 1 – Post to the IDI Group (first thing in the morning):

Keep the current post (with some group-first tweaks below), make it clear it's for group members only. Don’t mention reposting it elsewhere just yet.

Step 2 – Post to your Personal Feed (later in the day):

Make a new post on your main feed that says something like:

“Just shared a call for ideas in the IDI group for our first online meetup.

If you're not in the group yet, join now and help shape it from the ground up.”
