INDUSTRIAL DESIGN: LinkedIn content secrets, part II
I get asked about posting strategy fairly often now, usually by sharp people who’ve seen a post of mine get traction and want to know how it works. Most expect me to hold something back. I never do, because there’s nothing to hold.
Here’s everything I know. 1. Nobody reads, so compress one idea until it fits. 2. The top line and the image are the whole post, because that’s all the feed shows. 3. You’re playing two games at once, the audience and the algorithm. 4. Speak to their problem, never your solution. 5. Give general advice away free so they’ll pay you for the specific application. 6. Then do it daily for a year while the numbers stay embarrassing.
That’s it, no trick, no secret sauce. Just honesty, persistence, and showing up again tomorrow. Do that for long enough and I promise you it will work out.
If that helps you, take it. It was never mine to keep.
