INDUSTRIAL DESIGN: user research
Quick question for the group.
When you’re doing research, what are your go to questions?
Do you focus on what frustrated them, or what made them happy? Do you ask what broke, or what they paid extra for? Do you study what they say they want, or what they actually did?
I care less about sample size and more about patterns. Evidence over opinion. Behavior over hypotheticals.
If you’re a designer doing user research, and I hope you all are,, how are you getting to real insight without a big research budget?
I am genuinely curious how you approach it.
